DOES GOD EXIST

“By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible” (Heb. 11:3 NIV)).

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities‒‒his eternal power and divine nature‒‒have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”

“God spread the North over the empty space and He hanged the earth over nothing” (Job 26:7).

Even without the above Scriptures, the presence of The Great power is obviously seen and undeniable through the spectacular and wonder of the physical things that exist. And yet, this is just the affirmation of what being revealed in the Scriptures, thus, those who say in their hearts there is no God is without excuse.

Modern science has now the knowledge of how the earth hanged over nothing, and so, of what then, the mystery of the unfathomable space we call the universe. It is so awesome to behold the power that controls the movement of 200 billion galaxies in the universe that has 100 billion stars in each galaxy. One of these billions of stars in one galaxy alone named the Milky Way Galaxy is called Sun, where nine planets revolve including the planet called earth, where we, human being live. The movement of the nine planets on its own orbit around the Sun is perfectly in coordination with each other that has to do with our earth’s ecology and layer of atmospheres. The earth rotate in its axis a complete cycle of 24 hours, we call one day. It revolves around the Sun a complete cycle of 365 days and one fourth, we call one year. The axis tilts a declination of 23.45 degrees to the North and to the South of the equator as it travels along the preordained orbit that gives us the four seasons in one year cycle, we call spring, summer, autumn and winter. The awesome universe with the 200 billion galaxies within, down to 100 billion of stars in each galaxy intricately moves in its cycle with precision for billions of years. This phenomenon didn’t happen by random; the cycle is being repeated for billions of years perfectly the same from what it had been in the distant past and, still going on.

There must be a being of intelligence and power that controls this awesome universe. There must be a power that controls the coordinated movement of every object in the universe down to the speck of dust in the space which is the earth‒‒the planet where we live. This power who preordained everything and all things is none other than GOD, the Creator Himself. This is the God that we worship.

And most amazingly, God’s control redounds to the inhabitants of the speck of dust in the space. In the book “Peace Maker” by Ken Sande, the author writes on page 60“He (God) alone controls individual lives and destinies.” The author supported this with many Scriptures, and may I add Psalms 139:16 that says, “All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be”.

What a spectacular creation of the All Powerful, All Knowing and Omni-present God. No wonder He is the One and only who controls everything in the universe and beyond the limitless space. Indeed, He is The Eternal God.

There is no way that can ignore the power behind this awesome universe, and there is no reason to say that God doesn’t exist, except what Psalms 14:1; 53:1 that say, ‘Only fools say in their hearts, ‘There is no God’.”
